Healing Haylee
There has always been one thing that has stuck with me throughout my life and that is to be kind. No matter where you go and what you do, bring positivity and kindness. People will never forget the way you made them feel. I have been able to bring kindness and positivity to many people and for that I am grateful.
One day in May 2025, I had a class scheduled and I saw that a mother and daughter were coming. I knew exactly who they were. I was excited to greet them to my Crystal Wheel and Reiki experience class. I knew they would have a positive experience. During my classes, I will typically get intuitive nudges of guidance and relay the information to the guests that attend my class. At the end of this class, the mother and daughter, stayed and shopped. I felt that there was much more that I could do.
The daughter’s name was Haylee, I told her and her mother that I wanted to help Haylee. I wanted to help her story and inspire her. I also wanted her to have a good experience with the work my mom and I were doing in the world. I could feel the emotion of joy and relief as I spoke with both. This moment felt so beautiful to me.Haylee began receiving Reiki treatments from me and she really started to notice major differences physical and emotionally. I was so happy for her. I could see the differences. Her strength seemed stronger, and she seemed more and more like herself.
Her and I would have frequent calls or texts about what she could help with next. She was so excited to help with whatever we needed. She helped at an event we had in Cambridge, MA at Jamies Ice cream Co. This night was special in so many ways. Haylee was a natural motivator, and I could tell she had influenced people in such a positive way just by being her. She spent time learning to sew from my mom and helping with whatever she needed at the store. Haylee said to me one day, “Holly, you and your mom work full-time and run Prism Wheel. I can do whatever you need me to do.” She was very driven and had the same mission as my mom and I, she wanted to help people.
On August 21st, I texted Haylee if I could chat with her on the phone quickly and she said sure. I was so excited to chat with her because I had an amazing plan for her. She was very excited and said the nurses were here, she would chat later. She was at the hospital because something wasn’t right with her liver levels. Haylee had dealt with Cystic Fibrosis her whole life and had a liver transplant back in 2023. On August 23, Haylee’s birthday, I saw her mom posted about Haylee on Facebook saying she was unaware it was her birthday and was in the ICU, she needed prayers. Monday, late morning, I got a call from my friend. One of Haylee’s mom’s best friends, she told me Haylee passed last night. My mom and I were heartbroken.
There is so much I could say about her, and I knew her for such a short time. I couldn’t believe she was gone. I just talked to her, and I heard the excitement in her voice. During that brief conversation, she felt like she had purpose and there was a sense of feeling fulfillment.
My mom and I may have made an impact in Haylee’s life but, what we didn’t realize was the impact she made in ours.
To honor Haylee we have decided to create an event
called Healing Haylee. It was an absolute honor to help Haylee heal in
so many ways in these last couple of months.
Her courage, kindness, and willingness to share her light deeply impacted us, and now we want to share that same spirit with our community.
On this day, you’ll experience:
-
Healing services and classes to nurture mind, body, and spirit
-
Space to connect with one another in love and support
-
A celebration of Haylee’s life and the healing she inspired
In Haylee’s honor, a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, helping to support others on their journey and continue her legacy of hope.
Join us for Healing Haylee on December 6th 10-3PM—a day to heal, connect, and uplift one another, just as Haylee would have wanted.
Follow us @prismwheel for event description and to let us know you are coming to this very special event.
As always with love,
Holly and Heidi
